CALIFORNIA DREAMING

I had worked with this client before and, when she decided she needed help in her home in California, she called on me! I flew out to California for 1 week and transformed her entire home. The result for her was less stress, less stuff, and space for a better life!

This "client" is my dear mother-in-law!  How does one move from a large, dearly loved home of a lifetime to an Assisted Living Apartment to a Nursing Home Room?  One step at a time.  With vision for the future.  Considering function, simplicity, individual style and great care & communication with the client so that they choose what they take with them during each step.  Want help to do this?

ADAPTING TO A GROWING NEED

This client originally hired me to organize his home office.  While doing our initial needs assessment and quote, we discovered that there was a leak in the lower level and all the contents of his office, guest bedroom & hallway needed to be moved into the family room while the problem was fixed and that lower level area dried.  So the project became sorting all of the contents, organizing each of the spaces and the original office project which included sorting and downsizing many years of paper and saved items. One of the clients' goals was to create a workable space in the lower level home office so that the client could move out of the upstairs family room corner into the office on the lower level.  This was also accomplished during this project. What a relief it was to have completed!

This client had been using their loft area primarily for storage but wanted to reclaim that space for a home office area.

AN ENTIRE HOME PROJECT

This client had recently moved and had not had time to downsize her previous home office, files, books or periodicals prior to arriving to her new home.  The project included sorting & organizing the space while downsizing paper and moving books to her lower level.  After this was done, I helped her choose a new desk system that would meet her current needs.

GOODBYE NEIGHBOR

After downsizing her entire 4 bedroom house, my dear neighbor was successfully moved to a senior living facility. The transition is difficult, but now she is set up and starting off right! I love getting to help seniors with this transition and making it just a little bit easier and much less stress.
